My husband and I are in our 60's and have been taking yoga with Michelle for 1 1/2 years and we are beginners. She is excellent and caring about tailoring the poses and stretches to meet our needs, as well as the younger members of the class. We have gotten so much benefit to improve our stretching and mobility for our age. Other yoga classes I have been to have not been as skilled or beneficial. She is the real deal, with a real classic yoga background, great for all levels."

Michelle is a kind soul who honestly and effectively reaches her students. I took a two-part introduction to meditation seminar from Michelle in the fall of 2009. The topic & practice of meditation was quite foreign to me in concept, but something I yearned to get a grasp of for sometime before I finally took Michelle's seminar. She has a very organized way of approaching the subject and a very welcoming/conversational way of listening to her students in the discussion of the practice. As I continue working towards adopting meditation as a regular practice in my life, I often think of Michelle's subtle and soft but enlightening ideas about why meditation is so good for all of us. As time allows, I would really enjoy taking additional courses with Michelle."

I attended the prenatal class sessions in the fall 2009. Michelle prepared us for the birth with breathing and relaxation techniques with great knowledge. The classes also helped me relieve back pain, relax and connect with my baby. It was also great to be able to get back to yoga while pregnant to remain strong and flexible. Michelle has a soft approach which was just what I needed. I highly recommend the Ayurvedic Path, Michelle is the best yoga teacher I have had."

I took a Prenatal class with Michelle in the fall of 2009 before the birth of my son Christian on January 30, 2010. I had a natural birth with NO EPIDURAL! I owe it to a wonderful coach, my husband and an exercise ball that I brought into the delivery room!??My experience with Prenatal Yoga was wonderful! I would highly recommend this class to all mothers-to-be. I never missed a class...I enjoyed the group discussions before starting. My favorite part of the class was the time that you could bond with your baby! Michelle's tone of voice and words are so healing and relax your mind and body.??I am 3 months pregnant again and can not wait to take another Prenatal Yoga class this Fall 2010...see you soon Michelle!"

I took a month of yoga classes from Michele at The Ayurvedic Path, and I have to say I enjoyed them very much. I have been doing yoga off and on for several years in India and in the US, and I was so delighted to see how well Michele conducts these classes. She is very knowledgeable, is an amazing instructor, and is extremely patient with all her students - beginners to advanced. I highly recommend that folks attend her classes, from hatha yoga, to meditation, to power yoga. It is the best yoga studio I have attended to date in VA."

Michelle's prenatal yoga class is amazing! I'm so glad I signed up for it, and have kept doing it throughout my pregnancy. She builds a sense of belonging in the class between all of the expectant mom's. She starts each of the classes with a pregnancy topic, and then goes into breathing, and yoga stretches. I would highly recommend this class to any expectant mother who wants to remain active during their pregnancy, and wants to meet other new mothers!"

I love Michelle's pre-natal yoga class! She does a great job building a sense of community among the moms-to-be with fun and informational discussions about relevant prenatal topics before each class. She then takes us through a series of gentle yoga poses and stretches. It's not an intense fitness experience but it's great for expectant moms who want to take some time for themselves."

I think Michele is the best!??I look forward to each and every class. I had no experience in yoga prior to attending her classes. She is patient, friendly, explains the benefits of each pose; and corrects without "lecturing" or making you feel singled-out. I have now been going to her classes for about a year. I have come to find out Yoga is about Mind/body/spirit and during each class; Michele educates and informs about all 3 of these foundations. I have tried other locations and instructors, and they all fell short of the experience of the Ayurvedic Path"

I have done a class or two of yoga on and off for a few years now so I was new to yoga as far as its concerned. Michelle is warm, caring and very knowledgeable. Her classes and small and intimate which means you get the maximum amount of attention on your technique and any special adjustments you might need to make for your health, fitness level etc. She also focuses on a mind/body connection that really brings everything together. Five stars from me"

I was hoping to find someone that shared a deeper, broader understanding of Yoga instead of just a cardio workout. Michelle's class has a great sense of community and her kind and gentle spirit are a great motivator.
