Martine O'Neill
The beauty of nature, my loving family and close friends, the inspiring interaction and feedback from students.
A generous heart, kind speech and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity - Buddha.
Seduction of Spirit Journey into Healing
Martine was born in the Netherlands. After high school and during college education she studied languages, law and psychology. She has held senior posts in various companies over the years.
Eastern philosophies have always been of interest to her but it was a televised interview with Dr. Deepak Chopra on BBC television that defined the path she was to take. She began reading books on the various ancient wisdoms. After reading the books ‘Perfect Health’ and ‘Unconditional Life: Mastering the forces that shape personal reality’ she decided to incorporate the Indian philosophy as taught by the Chopra Centre for Wellbeing in California into her everyday life.
She learned to meditate, following this with training to become a teacher in Primordial Sound Meditation in 2004. This, in turn, was followed by the teacher training for The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga in 2006 and she finished her Masters education in Vedic Science with the teacher’s training for Perfect Health in 2007.
She has been teaching Primordial Sound Meditation in the Netherlands since 2004 and in the USA since 2006. She held classes in the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga and Primordial Sound Meditation in the USA and has worked with patients and cancer survivors at an internationally renowned hospital in Atlanta, USA.
A devout follower of the Chopra Center philosophy as well as Pandit Vamadeva Shastri Martine has changed her life around and found her dharma in teaching people how to improve the quality of their existence and to bring laughter, happiness and bliss back into their lives.
Having lived one year in the south of Spain she moved in November 2009 to York, England. She still teaches Primordial Sound Meditation on her regular visits to the Netherlands.
