Jan Kinder, RN, BA, HN-BC, CMT, is the founding director of The Jan KinderCenter for Health and Well Being, LLC, in southern Florida, formerly The Self Centre International, LLC, an awarded mindbodyspirit wellness center at Caneel Bay, A Rosewood Resort, USVI from 2000-2011.  She has been a Chopra Center instructor/educator in meditation and Ayurveda since 1995.  Jan is a licensed registered nurse, board-certified holistic nurse, meditation practitioner and teacher with life-long studies in Eastern philosophies, certified music/sound therapist and guided imagery practitioner.  Mind-body-spirit interrelatedness and quality of life remain the themes in her personal and professional life.

From 1977, she has guided adults and children through the experience of: meditation; mind body approaches in medicine; Ayurveda; imagery; stress management and relaxation practices; music in medicine and vibrational sound therapies; and expressive therapies and the healing arts. As a speaker and presenter, Jan has served various populations in hospitals; corporations; universities; yoga/meditation centers and the private sector.

She is also a classical pianist, composer and vocalist.  She loves and is inspired by music, unconditional love, life-long friendships, visionaries, acts of kindness, nature, and colorful sunsets.
