In January 2007 my life had an amazing change of course when Deepak’s book, "Spontaneous fulfillment of desire" crossed my path. Having previously discovered the benefits of meditation over many years, I used this book to expand my understanding of my meditative experiences. Following this discovery and over the next few months I witnessed a life changing experience which can best be described as a feeling that I had been touched by some inner force. So deeply moved by this inner change I applied in May 2007 for my first Chopra seminar to be held at California’s beautiful Lake Tahoe, USA.   During this Synchrodestiny seminar I also discovered an inner commitment and desire to myself become a teacher and to set everything else aside as I rose to meet my life’s most challenging purpose. A purpose that led to my taking a one year sabbatical from my work which enabled me to commit all of my energy and focus upon the Vedic Master Path which provides certifications in: Yoga, Primordial Sound Meditation and Perfect Health. In August 2008 I achieved my goal and was awarded Vedic Master Certification in Vancouver, Canada. Looking back, other than the discovery of Synchrodestiny itself, I can only say that the Teacher training has been the best thing that ever happened to me. Worthy of the effort, I thank the Chopra team for the help and support they have given me as I pursued my goals.
 
So, here I am, Caroline, 47 year old Dutch native, married to Erik and mother of Kim (22) and Ron (20) and on a completely new and different path; one that my wildest dreams had never imagined. I gave my first Meditation training in Holland in the fall of 2008 and I started teaching the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga in January 2009. My dream is to set up a kind of Wellcare Center in the small, idealic village where I live in Holland. “I have found the inner strength and courage which I did not know I had in me; they help me to explore the unknown side of my soul. I let myself go with the current and finally I will throw my anchor out at the island where the flow of life brought me.” (Paulo Coelho)
 
I too have discovered my Dharma, my purpose in life. And although I need to thank Deepak for the book that has triggered the discovery of these qualities in me, it could also have been something else that started my search for the meaning of life. I know now that this inner force is inside all of us and I want to teach people how to discover this inner strength for themselves. A strength all too often suppressed by ego and our addiction to the things outside of ourselves.
