Mary Elizabeth Davis, MSN, RN, FNP

I am a full time meditation teacher, as well as a health, happiness and wellness consultant. I would love to connect with you and share my knowledge.

I bring to my teaching a background of 35 years in Family Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner, and 40 years of meditation practice. I believe I can make more difference in a person's life by teaching them meditation, than I can by giving them any medication. The practice of meditation helps heal the core issues which create illness, while medicines often just suppress the symptoms.

My previous employment includes being the Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the Seattle University College of Nursing for 5 years. I have also practiced Primary Care in a variety of settings including Low Income Community Clinics, HMOs, ERs, and Walk In Clinics.

I began attending courses through the Chopra center 12 years ago. My initial interest was in developing knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine, and integrating this into a holistic practice. I became captivated by the scientific and physiology-based presentations by Dr Chopra and Dr Simon regarding the effects of meditation and a healthy lifestyle based on your body type. I have since attended most of the Chopra course and have loved the balance, peace and happiness they have brought to my life.

I would love to introduce you to this meditation practice. You will find that your life will become more relaxed, your health will improve, and you will experience more happiness and fulfillment. Call or email me today. Let's get started on changing your life for the better!

Testimonials

"As mother to six children (four teenagers!) and a small business owner, I have a good deal of stress in my life. Mary taught me and my children Primordial Sound Meditation, and when we find ourselves frazzled, overwhelmed, and in need of some centering, we sit down and meditate! When I meditate with the Sunday group my shoulders feel inches lower. It's a great way to start the week."
--Liz McCarthy French

"I wanted to learn meditation for stress management, and meeting with Mary one-on-one helped me feel more supported and willing to stick to a daily practice. Since I began daily meditation, I have noticed a tremendous difference in how I react to daily stressors. I am much more able to stay calm when others are upset, and this has made me a far better parent, spouse, and friend."
--Margaret Certain

"Bruce and Mary are experienced teachers of meditation and expanded my practice. Even though I had been taught various ways to meditate in the past, after Bruce taught me, I was more able to bring the practice into the rest of my like, improving my work and home life. Thank you for your teachings, and I love coming by once a week when I can to meditate in the group setting also."
--Joe Berkson, MD

"Mary Davis is an excellent teacher. She is clear and complete. Her style is professional with a caring supportive role. I have learned so much. She has motivated me that no other meditation teacher has in the past. I have learned the important of daily practice and use it in my routine of daily activities. I also attend whenever I can her group sessions when they are scheduled. I am greatful for her teaching practice."
